The Backyard Country Club started with a simple idea: the best “country club” isn’t across town. It’s right outside your back door. It’s the place where kids run barefoot, the grill gets fired up, and Saturday morning starts with a fresh tank of gas and a plan to make the stripes a little cleaner than last week.

We’re an apparel and accessories brand built for the people who treat the yard like sacred ground and a running joke at the same time. We love the old-school country club vibe, but our membership fee is sweat, sunscreen, and arguing with yourself about whether you really need to edge twice. It’s a little wink to the classic country club fantasy, with a very real-world dress code: comfortable, clean, and ready for “just one more pass.”

The Backyard Country Club is where lawn care meets family life. It’s equal parts hobby, ritual, and friendly competition. You don’t need perfect turf or a fancy membership. You just need that mindset that says home matters, effort shows, and the backyard is worth showing up for.

Our gear is for the ones building the best version of home one mow at a time. The early risers. The weekend warriors. The folks who know the satisfaction of fresh lines, a cold drink, and looking back at a yard that says, “Yeah, I did that.”

WHAT IS THE BACKYARD COUNTRY CLUB ?

HOW IT STARTED

Backyard Country Club started as a way to reconnect with creativity that had been pushed aside by life, work, and family responsibilities.

That spark came back through lawn care. Not just mowing, but the culture around it. The creativity behind the videos, photos, and pride shared by people who genuinely cared about their lawns.

Wanting to show appreciation, I designed a few stickers and sent them to creators who inspired that mindset. One of those connections was with the team behind The Lawn Tools. What started as a thank-you quickly turned into conversations, shared ideas, and joking back and forth about shirts, hats, and designs.

We tried a few early versions of being a brand. Some were funny. Some worked. Some didn’t. But one thing was clear: quality mattered. Print-on-demand wasn’t good enough.

So we built it ourselves.

Every piece is designed and produced in-house using our own equipment. Shirts, hats, and gear are pressed, printed, and finished by hand to meet the same standard we expect in our own yards.

Backyard Country Club became a lifestyle brand built together around real lawn culture, shared standards, and creativity that doesn’t try too hard. Humor still has a place here, but it’s not forced.

This isn’t merch for a channel.
It’s a brand built by people who care about the details.
